Sky House

Sky House

Cheviot

Sky House is conveniently situated between Christchurch and Kaikoura, with Christchurch just a 90-minute drive away and Kaikoura less than an hour. The famous spa town, Hanmer Springs, is 1 hour and 15-minutes drive away.

The accommodation consists of two pods, perched above farmland, with breathtaking views of the rolling hills, St Anne’s Lagoon, and the Kaikoura mountains beyond.

A spacious deck connects the two pods, creating a seamless flow between your living spaces. One pod houses two cosy bedrooms with queen beds. Large windows frame the breathtaking landscape, letting the beauty of nature flow into every space. The second pod features a lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. Just outside, you'll find a bar leaner—perfect for soaking up the sun with a cup of coffee—as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining.

Just a stone’s throw away is an inviting outdoor area complete with a bath, shower, and campfire, perfect for unwinding under the stars.

Cheviot is more than just a stopover on your way to or from Kaikoura; it’s a destination worth exploring. You can leave the world behind, enjoy the changing views, and venture out nearby to discover the South Island's iconic scenery.
